The Omarchy homepage needed a wordmark that felt like the rest of the OS: block art, but solid. Not a flat PNG, not a CSS trick. Actual letters, extruded, lit, sitting in space.
This is the tool I built to get there. Type a word, it sets it in the same figlet font as the Omarchy logo, then a small software rasteriser turns every block into a voxel. You can orbit it, change the light, pick a theme, and export a PNG.
Why it exists
I was redesigning omarchy.org and kept needing another render of the mark. Different word, different angle, different palette. Exporting from a 3D package for every variation was silly. The wordmark is already a bitmap. It just happens to be stored as text.
So the whole thing is: parse the art, extrude every set bit, light it. Canvas 2D, no WebGL, no build step. A few thousand quads is nothing.
What you can do
- Type any word (letters for now) or paste your own block art
- Orbit with the mouse, shift-drag to pan
- Tune depth, greeble, camera, light, bloom, shadow
- Follow any of the 22 built-in Omarchy themes, or pick your own ramp
- Export PNG at 1×, 2×, or 4×
- Copy the ASCII, the config, or a shareable link
