About Me

I built my first website over 20 years ago (it was about Harry Potter, long story). I've been hooked on building things ever since.

I'm a designer, developer, and founder. I co-founded AppSignal, an application monitoring tool for developers, and spent 13 years building it. After their Series A in 2025, I stepped away to pursue other things.

Now I'm back to what I love most: making things. I build products that scratch my own itch, follow my curiosity, and see where it leads. Sometimes it's a useful tool. Sometimes it's a fun experiment. Hopefully a happy accident or two along the way.

What I'm into right now

We're in the wild west days of AI. Tools that didn't work six months ago suddenly do. I'm pushing these tools to their limits, revisiting ideas that failed before, and shipping faster than ever.

My current projects range from developer tools to privacy tools. The common thread? I build what interests me.

The mix

I work at the intersection of design, code, and product. I've been a frontend developer, a CPO, a founder. I like understanding how all the pieces fit together.
